Catastrophe strikes the SeaDonkey
No vandalism involved,
It appears that the cotter pin on the roller furling must have failed, this is the pin holding it andit backed out on a windy night, then the mast fell back, snapped a stainless steel shroud, then it all fell back into the lake. I think, with a new shroud and some new pins and a little fiberglass patching, she should be as good as it was when she arrived at the lake.
She will be ready in no time.
