Henk, you would have enjoyed the one day of ice boating that we hadso far, before the snow came. The ice had just barly frosen when Mike and a friend tried out their boats on Calhoun. I went to the lake to see how it was going, just in time to see Mike go through the ice.........He was in the water hanging onto the hull, which lukily kept him afloat. They got him a rope and three guys, including Werner, managed to pull him out.
They spend the next half hour to get the boat out.
In the midst of things the police arrived and told them to come to shore. Mike, ofcourse was not about to abandon the boat,whichwould have gottenfrosen in untill spring.
The adventure's never cease on old Calhoun,
and we are happy the Mike is save and well
