First Lake Calhoun Keelboat Race Next Saturday (22th) 11 am.

Hello Keelboat Sailors,

It is so far, before starting the 29th with the  first official race with 3 series for the 2010 season we will have the opportunity to to get in the groove with an unofficial Keelboat race  Saturday the 22th.

We count at the moment on 9 boats participating and still more to come.

Please be on the water by 10:45 am as the race starts at 11:00 am sharp.

We will race this season two races: 
Two short Olympic courses with the seccond race starting after the last boat finised its first race.

This season the races will start on time, as the judge has to set up the course on time for us to be able to race.

1) Judge blows horn 30 minutes before the start.

2) Judge gives first signal 6 minutes before the start.

3) Judge gives second signal 3 minutes before the start.

4) Judge gives starting signal.

• The minimum will be three boats in a race.

• There will be tender transport from and to your boats.
